2019 has seen the best start to the year in terms of how much I’ve read thanks to one really smart, simple hack. BookBeat — and walking as much as possible.
Because of this one simple change in my life, I’ve got through almost a book a week by the end of the year (read 40 — not bad going and I’ve consumed some incredible content that I’m delighted to share with members, in the hopes you will have a look and try it for a month for FREE). It’s my top choice having been recommended this by a friend and having no idea how incredible I’d find it. It’s an absolute masterpiece that could totally change society and the way we think. “Suffering from depression all his life, he travels the world uncovering stories from fellow sufferers and the key scientists who have shaped the modern world of antidepressants to blow that story wide open, making room for a new, improved one.
2. Fear trump in the White House Bob Woodward
With authoritative reporting honed through eight presidencies from Nixon to Obama, author Bob Woodward reveals in unprecedented detail the harrowing life inside President Donald Trump’s White House and precisely how he makes decisions on major foreign and domestic policies. Woodward draws from hundreds of hours of interviews with firsthand sources, meeting notes, personal diaries, files and documents. The focus is on the explosive debates and the decision-making in the Oval Office, the Situation Room, Air Force One and the White House residence.
3. Rich Dad Poor Dad Robert Kiyosaki

5. Principles Ray Dalio
Ray Dalio, one of the world’s most successful investors and entrepreneurs, shares the unconventional principles that he’s developed, refined, and used over the past forty years to create unique results in both life and business—and which any person or organization can adopt to help achieve their goals.
6. Dreams from My Father Barack Obama
A searching meditation on the meaning of identity in America, Dreams from My Father might be the most revealing portrait we have of a major American leader—a man who is playing, and will play, an increasingly prominent role in healing a fractious and fragmented nation.
7. The Hate U Give Angie Thomas
Sixteen-year-old Starr Carter moves between two worlds: the poor neighborhood where she lives and the fancy suburban prep school she attends. The uneasy balance between these worlds is shattered when Starr witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend Khalil at the hands of a police officer. Khalil was unarmed.
