On Thursday 5th July, World Privilege Plus supported and attended a Ladies Who Lunch event at the newly relaunched Babbo restaurant (formerly Saporito). PR and event company The Edge Events expertly organised the day, inviting 85 guests to the special lunchtime event – demand for tickets was so high it sold out fast and had to use a reserve list for hopeful guests.
Babbo, the friendly family run Italian restaurant is well known in the Prestwich area for its high quality and affordable Italian cuisine. The new restaurant has a modern stylish look, perfect for all occasions – for couples, groups of friends, business meetings, and any special occasions. The owners are always so friendly and welcoming.
Owners and sisters Olivia and Laura told The Edge Events:
“We wanted to showcase our £9.95 lunch menu and settings and what better way than to organise the style of event where ladies (and men) can enjoy a great lunch with entertainment thrown in – in the way of the amazing Carlo Sax who was such a hit getting everyone up and dancing. The atmosphere was electric. We supplied canapés and prosecco on arrival and ladies were treated to an exclusive goody bag sponsored by Kiehl’s. In addition Cuckoo Gin supplied welcome pink gins/cocktails. There was a raffle to donate towards the 22 Bees Project. We are delighted to say we raised £222 – we feel a great coincidence with it being 22 Bees Project.”
Some of the famous faces attending the event included Zoe-Lea Dale (Miss Manchester 2017), Jemima Wright (Miss Tameside 2018) , Fatime Gashi (Winner Miss Manchester 2018), Emily Wright (Miss Tameside 2018 and Miss Cheshire 5th place), and Goldie Cheung from X Factor in a gorgeous bespoke yellow dress.
World Privilege Plus was delighted to donate one of the top raffle prizes worth £100.
Other supporters of the event included: Allumi, Ratnali Jewellery, Charlotte Rebecca Lutwyche Makeup Artist, Tropic Skincare, Birdhouse Salon, Rose and Lee Interiors, Cuckoo Gin, Kiehl’s.
